The Lynx Fables: El corazon y la mariposa (Part II/V)
September 17, 2010
Suave como la lluvia
Duro como las montaƱas
Delicious insides found from a flock
A boar’s whistle and toes create rhythm for days
Arranging for survival and the sun’s tick tock
But then He says, “not yet” and the avalanche delays
Passive interest in success, sees the one with no vision
Seeking forgotten ceremonies by the upright hunter
Never laying to rest, fear the turmoil of decision
Insignificant moments immortalized by thunder
Ojala, will the rains arrive to sooth me?
Ojala, please, mountains do not make the path rough
Singing voices, carried throughout the valleys
The wind is proud and mighty, it is our savior
Returning from the night world
Bring us our feast
